They had a bunch of cheerleading teams come out to encourage the runners as they passed by, of course at 6:30 in the morning some of these girls were still trying to find their cheerful side.
I missed the first group of elite runners, this is the second and they were gone quickly.

They also had bands about every three miles, it is the Rock-n-Roll Marathon after all. I'm sure you can guess they were playing upbeat music most of the morning.
